COUNTRY HOUSE.
PLENTY OF
PERSONALITY.

Looking at Bardney Hall for your wedding? Have a scroll. I’m Dan, the photographer behind Dandrew Photography, and I’ve photographed two very different celebrations here. Same house and gardens, completely different days. Bloody brilliant to be part of both.

Beth and Ryan had an outdoor ceremony with Animal Crossing music, garden games and pizza. Sophie and Kieren got married at church before heading back for a marquee reception, then joined their own band for a funk and soul set. There’s no single way a wedding here has to look.

This page brings those days together with a few useful venue details. You can get a feel for the setting, see the photographs and find out how I’d approach your day. I’m based in Hull and photograph weddings across the Humber in North Lincolnshire too.

Outdoor wedding ceremony chairs on the lawn in front of Bardney Hall

Bardney Hall is an exclusive-use country house wedding venue in Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire, across the Humber Bridge from Hull.

Inside, outside and making it yours

The venue offers the Ceremony Room, Garden Room and grounds for ceremonies, with package and dry-hire options. There are also five individually designed bedrooms. For current hire arrangements, guest numbers and accommodation, check Bardney Hall’s official wedding information and arrange a viewing with the team.

What I can show you is how it has looked on real wedding days. Beth and Ryan exchanged vows outside, with their guests gathered on the lawn. Sophie and Kieren’s church ceremony was followed by celebrations back at the house. If you’re deciding how you want the day to flow, the two stories below are a useful place to start.

A little wander, then back to everyone

The gardens give us space for a few portraits without building the day around a photoshoot. And sometimes the photographs happen on the way: Sophie and Kieren stopped beside a bright pink door on their walk through Barton after church. A colourful backdrop, a laugh and a few minutes together before getting back to the celebrations.

We’ll work with the light and your plans. I’ll help when you need a bit of guidance, organise the family groups you want and keep looking for what’s happening around you. There’s plenty worth photographing while you’re busy enjoying yourself.
