Hey, I’m Dan! A Hull based wedding photographer who loves real moments, good people and a wedding with a bit of personality.
I like to keep things relaxed. No endless posing or formalities for the sake of it. Just you enjoying your day and me capturing it as it happens.

Do you photograph weddings outside Hull?
Yes. I’m based in Hull and photograph weddings across East Yorkshire, Yorkshire and the rest of the UK. I’m happy to hear about plans abroad too. For venues more than two hours from HU13, travel costs depend on the distance and whether an overnight stay is needed. We’ll agree those costs before you book.
What style of wedding photography do you offer?
My wedding photography is relaxed, natural and documentary led. Most of the day I’m capturing things as they happen: the laughs, the chaos, the hugs and the little moments you might otherwise miss. We’ll make time for group photos and a few portraits too, without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
How long do you usually stay at a wedding?
Most couples choose Full Day coverage, from morning preparations through to the first dance and a little of the party afterwards. That gives you the story of the whole day, rather than just the ceremony and portraits. If you need less coverage, my Bespoke package starts at two hours.
How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer?
Many couples book their wedding photographer around a year to eighteen months ahead, especially for summer Saturdays. If your wedding is sooner, it’s still worth asking. I sometimes have last-minute availability.
Do you offer shorter wedding coverage?
Yes. Bespoke wedding photography starts at £500 for two hours, with additional coverage at £225 per hour. It suits smaller weddings, registry office ceremonies and elopements. It’s available Sunday–Thursday, excluding bank holidays, or any day when booked within three months of your wedding date, subject to availability.
Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes. My relaxed couple shoots are £250 for up to an hour on location, with high-resolution digital images and a private online gallery included. They’re suitable for engagement photos, anniversaries or getting comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding. Usually a walk somewhere nice, with a little guidance when you need it.
How do we book you as our wedding photographer?
Send me your wedding date, venue and a little about your plans through the contact form. I usually reply within 1–2 days. If I’m available, we can have a chat and see if we’re a good fit. A signed booking agreement and £300 deposit secure your date, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your wedding.
