THE BEVERLEY BARN.

Thinking about getting married at The Beverley Barn? Have a scroll. I’m Dan, the photographer behind Dandrew Photography, and I’m chuffed to be on the venue’s recommended photographers list. I’ve photographed weddings here a number of times, and there’s always something different happening.

Rachel and Harry’s day had vows out in the garden, a confetti tunnel, their sausage dog Dottie and a ridiculous sunset. Then came the novelty sunglasses and light-up foam sticks. Bloody brilliant from start to finish.

My approach? Give you a hand when you need it, make time for the photographs you want and let you get on with enjoying yourselves. This page brings together a few useful venue details and a proper look at a wedding here, from the morning laughs to the dance floor.

03 / Getting to know The Beverley Barn

A BARN.
A GARDEN.
YOUR KIND OF DAY.

Outdoor ceremony chairs and festoon lights in the gardens at The Beverley Barn

The Beverley Barn is an exclusive-use wedding venue on Long Lane in Beverley, East Yorkshire. A converted dairy barn, gardens and space to spend the day with your favourite people.

Garden vows or something indoors?

The venue has five licensed indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, plus a courtyard, Garden Reception Room, Stag Bar and Snug. Check The Beverley Barn’s official website for current hire options and arrange a viewing to see what suits your plans.

Rachel and Harry said their vows outside, with guests gathered in the garden. You’ll find those photographs in their story below, along with the barn set up for the wedding breakfast and the party later on.

A few photographs, then back to everyone

We can take a little wander through the gardens for some portraits without turning the day into one long photoshoot. Rachel and Harry had a few minutes together beneath the trees, then we nipped out again when that sunset appeared. What a belter.

We’ll work with the light and what’s happening on your day. I’ll help with a bit of guidance, organise the family groups you’d like and keep an eye out for the laughs, hugs and questionable dance moves in between.

Making your Beverley plans

06 / A few useful answers

BEFORE
YOU ASK.

Where is The Beverley Barn?

You’ll find it on Long Lane, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 0RN. Use the official venue website for directions and to arrange a viewing.

Can we have an outdoor wedding ceremony?

Yes. The venue offers five licensed indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. Rachel and Harry’s photographs show their garden ceremony. Ask the team which setup works best for your guest numbers and weather plans.

Are you a recommended photographer at The Beverley Barn?

Yes! You’ll find Dandrew Photography on the venue’s recommended photographers list. I’ve photographed weddings here a number of times, including Rachel and Harry’s day above.

Can our dog come along?

The barn welcomes well-behaved dogs, with supervision and leads unless otherwise agreed. Dottie joined Rachel and Harry for photographs by their wedding car. Have a look at the venue’s dog guidance and chat to the team about your plans.

What happens if it rains?

We’ll work with the weather, available light and the spaces you’re using. There’s plenty to photograph while everyone is enjoying the day indoors, and we can pop outside when there’s a chance. I’ll discuss the options with you rather than making your day depend on a sunset.

How much is your wedding photography?

My Full Day package is £1,900. Bespoke coverage starts at £500 for two hours, subject to the availability and booking conditions on my pricing page. These are photography prices; the barn handles its own venue hire.

How do we check your availability?

Send your date and plans through my contact form and mention The Beverley Barn. I usually reply within 1–2 days. Tell me what you’re excited about, and we’ll take it from there.
