Alicia & Liam’s Engagement Shoot at National Trust Clumber Park
A Clumber Park Engagement Session in Worksop
I finally had the pleasure of meeting Alicia and Liam for their engagement shoot at the beautiful National Trust Clumber Park in Worksop. It’s one of those locations that never disappoints, especially for relaxed couple sessions surrounded by nature.
Clumber Park is a dream setting for engagement photography. From quiet woodland paths and blossoming flowers to the lakeside views and historic bridges, every corner offers something different. It’s ideal for couples who want natural, scenic backdrops without anything feeling forced.
Exploring the Walled Gardens and Lakeside Paths
We started our session with a walk through the walled gardens and greenhouse before heading along Clumber Lake and into the forest paths leading up to the bridge overlooking the park. The variety of textures and light throughout the park made it easy to capture a mix of intimate close ups and wide scenic shots.
Engagement shoots like this are a brilliant opportunity for couples to get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. There’s no pressure, just a relaxed walk, a chat about wedding plans and some natural moments along the way.
Relaxed and Natural Engagement Photography
Alicia and Liam were complete naturals in front of the camera. Their connection made everything feel effortless, which is exactly what I aim for as a Yorkshire wedding photographer. Capturing real smiles, movement and personality rather than stiff poses.
I’m so excited to photograph their wedding at Rufford Mill next month. If their engagement shoot at Clumber Park is anything to go by, it’s going to be an incredible day.
