White Syke Fields Wedding Photographer | Lauren and Ben’s Wedding

If you’re planning a wedding at White Syke Fields and looking for a relaxed White Syke Fields wedding photographer, Lauren and Ben’s day is a perfect example of how natural and fun your wedding photos can be here. This was actually my first time photographing a wedding at White Syke Fields, and honestly, I’ve no idea why it took me this long to get here.

From the moment I arrived, it was obvious why so many couples choose White Syke Fields for their wedding. Relaxed countryside vibes, loads of space for guests to properly enjoy the day, incredible food, and some seriously good spots for photos all around the venue.

As a Yorkshire wedding photographer, venues like White Syke Fields are exactly what I love. No fuss, no pressure, just a full day focused on people having a good time.

Lauren and Ben absolutely nailed that. Their wedding had everything. Laughs, great music, amazing food, and one very important guest who completely stole the show… Bobby the dog. Sorry Ben, but Bobby was 100% the real star of the day.

White Syke Fields Wedding Venue in North Yorkshire

White Syke Fields is one of those venues that just gets it right for relaxed weddings. Set in the North Yorkshire countryside, it’s perfect for couples who want something laid back, fun, and completely their own.

There’s loads of outdoor space, a brilliant setup for food options, and plenty of natural backdrops that make it ideal for candid wedding photography.

As a wedding photographer, it’s the kind of venue where nothing feels forced. The light, the space and the atmosphere do most of the work for you not to mention Steph the venue manager is so helpful from start to finish before and during your wedding day for any help you need!

A Relaxed Wedding Morning at White Syke Fields

From the moment I arrived the atmosphere was exactly what you want from a wedding morning. Relaxed, fun and full of excitement. Lauren was getting ready surrounded by her closest friends and family while the team from Dotty Bridal, Amy George Makeup and Bridal Hair by Lauren made sure everything looked incredible.

Lauren looked absolutely stunning and the whole morning had such a lovely energy to it. Lauren got ready nearby with beautiful countryside surroundings with lots of natural light and windows. Exactly the kind of wedding environment I love photographing.

A Beautiful Ceremony and A Dog Stealing the Spotlight

Lauren and Ben’s ceremony was full of emotion, laughter and those little moments that make weddings so special. And of course Bobby the dog made sure everyone knew he was there.Honestly, every time Bobby appeared the whole room lit up. He quickly became the unofficial VIP of the wedding. After the ceremony the celebrations moved outside where guests enjoyed drinks, sunshine and some seriously good food as well as some amazing garden games.

One of the highlights of the day was definitely the food. Yorkshire Hog Roast served up an incredible feast that guests absolutely loved (They even made me some banging vegan burgers and dessert too!) and later in the day the White Syke Fields pizza went down an absolute treat. Relaxed outdoor dining like this fits the venue perfectly and really adds to the laid back atmosphere that White Syke Fields weddings are known for.

While everyone was enjoying the food and drinks I spent time capturing everybody taking in the sun and good vibes. Friends catching up, family laughing together and guests soaking up the atmosphere. These are always some of my favourite moments to photograph because they show the real story of the day.

Lawn Games, Music and Great Wedding Vibes

The afternoon had such a brilliant vibe. Yorkshire Games Hire provided lawn games which were a huge hit with guests and kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon. Meanwhile Thomas J Wilman created the perfect atmosphere with a relaxed acoustic set that suited the venue perfectly.

This is something White Syke Fields does so well. It gives couples the space to create a really fun and relaxed celebration where guests can properly enjoy themselves. It never feels rushed or overly formal. Just good people having a great time together. Exactly how weddings should be.

Sunset Photos at White Syke Fields

As the evening rolled in we were treated to one of those perfect Yorkshire sunsets. White Syke Fields has some amazing spots for sunset photos and Lauren and Ben’s portraits during golden hour were just incredible. Soft light, beautiful countryside views and a couple who were clearly having the best day of their lives.

These quiet sunset moments are always a lovely chance for couples to step away for a few minutes and take everything in before heading back to the party. And what a party it was.

From start to finish Lauren and Ben’s wedding was an absolute joy to photograph. The two of them and their guests made me feel so welcome it honestly felt like being part of the celebration rather than just working.

White Syke Fields is without doubt one of my new favourite wedding venues and I would absolutely love to photograph more weddings here in the future. Lauren and Ben, thank you so much for having me there to capture your day. And Bobby… thank you for stealing the show.
