GOING ON.
You’ve organised the event, brought everyone together and made sure the details are in place. When it’s all happening at once, it helps to have someone looking out for the photographs.
I’m Dan, a commercial photographer based in Hull, covering business events, launches and live occasions across East Yorkshire and further afield.
I’ll work around what’s happening, looking for the atmosphere as well as the important moments on your brief. People talking, speakers in full flow, a room coming to life. The sort of photographs that show what it felt like to be there.

Conferences, networking, presentations and celebrations. We’ll agree the speakers, people and moments that matter, alongside natural photographs of the event as it unfolds.

New spaces, products and ideas getting their first outing. Coverage can include your branding, the setup, the people involved and the response from guests.

Live music & atmosphere
Performers, crowds and the energy of the room. Photographs that give people who weren’t there a feel for what happened, and give those who were a reason to look back.

A RUNNING ORDER.
A CLEAR PLAN.
Send me the date, venue, timings and an outline of the event. A running order helps me see where I need to be and which moments need particular attention.
Let me know about key people, important branding and any photographs you must come away with. If there are access requirements, restricted areas or people who shouldn’t be photographed, we’ll talk through those too.
We’ll also agree how the images will be used and when you need them. If you have a press or social media deadline, mention it at the enquiry stage so we can discuss what’s possible.

Can you cover just part of an event?
We can discuss coverage around the parts you need photographed. Send me the running order and priorities so I can quote for a suitable amount of time.
Can you take group photographs too?
Yes. Include any planned group photographs in the brief and allow a little time in the schedule to bring the right people together.
How quickly can we have the photographs?
We’ll agree delivery timing when we plan the booking. If you need photographs for a particular announcement or deadline, tell me beforehand so we can discuss the options.
