A little more about the shoot

01 / Property & Interior Photography

MAKE ROOM
FOR A GOOD LOOK.

A bright living room. A carefully chosen finish. The view that makes someone stop and imagine staying for a bit. Good property photographs help people understand a place before they walk through the door.

I’m Dan, a Hull-based commercial photographer working across East Yorkshire and further afield. I photograph homes, interiors and places to stay, with images planned for websites, property listings and marketing.

We’ll give the wider spaces room to breathe, then look at the details that make them feel considered. A useful set of photographs should do both.

02 / What we can photograph

THE WHOLE SPACE.
THE LITTLE DETAILS.

01

Homes & property

Clear views of rooms, layouts and the features people want to see. We’ll work through the property in a considered order, including the exterior where it’s part of the brief.

02

Interiors & design

Materials, furnishings and the way a room comes together. For interior projects where the details matter as much as the wider view.

03

Hotels & holiday lets

Bedrooms, living spaces and the practical features guests want to understand. We can plan a mix of welcoming room photographs and details that give a feel for the stay.

03 / Before the shoot

READY FOR
ITS CLOSE LOOK.

Tell me what kind of property it is, where it’s based and which spaces need photographing. If there are particular features you want to show, put those on the list too.

Before the shoot, it helps to have the rooms clean and ready, with surfaces cleared and the small finishing touches in place. We can talk through what needs attention beforehand.

Access and timing matter. We’ll discuss daylight, occupied rooms and any arrangements with owners, tenants or guests so the shoot runs as smoothly as possible.

04 / A few useful answers

GOOD TO KNOW.

Do you photograph holiday lets as well as homes?

Yes. Tell me about the property and where the images will be used, whether that’s your own website, booking listings or other marketing.

How should I prepare the property?

Have the rooms clean, tidy and set up as you want people to see them. We’ll agree the spaces and important details in advance, along with access and anything that needs arranging.

Can we include outdoor spaces?

Yes, where they’re part of the agreed brief. Gardens, terraces, entrances and exterior views can help tell the story of the property. We’ll also discuss the weather and timing.
